Thank you LORD for the way you've provided.
1. For the loan of my cousin's car while she's away. That gives us mobility and time to find our own house and car.
2. For the loan of my cousin's portable fan heater, which makes our room more habitable. We're gonna get one of our own real soon!
3. For granting us wisdom as we get used to the roads in and around Melbourne.
4. For sending us Spiro, the resident Greek in our hostel, this morning. He helped us book a cab through his contact after noticing us studying our Melway street directory for the best way to get to the airport in a hurry. We got to the airport just before my cousin had to board her plane!
5. For guiding us safely back to the hostel last night from Macleod Station after we returned our rental car at the airport. The roads sure look different by day!
6. For helping my cousin find someone (her colleague Steve Issacs) to stand by with her car keys in case she had to board the plane before we could reach the airport.
7. For inspiring our brother and sister in our home church to connect us with another church family that recently migrated to Melbourne. We hope to apply Paul's exhortation in Galatians to "do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers".
8. For healing Beth's chapped/split lip. After a few days of using the Body Shop lip balm, her lips are looking normal again!
9. For my friend Karen, who recommended I try DermaVeen after I told her of the constant itch on my belly, arms and legs that's giving me sleepless nights. DermaVeen has natural colloidal oatmeal which is esp helpful for those with eczema and other skin conditions. Last night, I had my first itch-free night of uninterrupted sleep! Thanks Karen!
10. For the encouraging and friendly S'porean and M'sian families we met at Church of Christ - Lygon St. It was like a gathering back home!
