- Bleeding has slowed significantly. It actually went from light brown to yellowish this morning...until 2 marathon sessions of L/R/L/L/L/R in the afternoon turned it back to red.
- Milk production continues to keep pace with, and even outstrip, demand. Was inspired to pump while nursing, and found it greatly enhanced supply. Am now pumping up to 60 ml per side. Gave Bub just 1 formula feed before I turned in last night (so I could get a bit more sleep) and none today. The ultimate goal is 100% breast milk. Just looking at the bottle of EBM sitting in the fridge makes me feel such a sense of achievement, haha :)
- The pain from the stitches is GONE, especially the hemorrhoid and that little sore spot on the right that was killing me.
- No severe afterpains today!
- Overall, I feel I am making good progress this time. I'm eating well and taking my supplements and drinking lots of fluid. That Bub has latched on properly and is feeding well is also key to my sense of wellbeing. It's great to know she's getting my best!
- I can finally see my ankles!
Thank you LORD for everything!
