Last night, J astounded us all by picking up a plastic cup and raising it to her lips. She held it as though she's been drinking from a cup for a long time.
Where'd she learn that from?
So I thought, if she doesn't like the bottle, maybe she might say yes to the cup. So I offered her a sippy cup with boiled water in it.
She held it with both hands, inspected it carefully, brought it to her mouth...and started chewing and sucking on the beak.
Managed to get her to swallow some water, but I don't think she's ready for the sippy cup just yet.
