I'm having an identity crisis of sorts.
Who am I - Serena S M Low or Low S M Serena or Serena Low S M or...?
What began as a simple form filling exercise to meet the new requirements for working with children as become a hoop-jumping exercise.
I am LSMS in my Singapore passport, but my passport name is not valid for Aussie purposes.
I am LSMS in my Aus driver's licence, but that has to be changed if I am to rely on it as my photo ID for the 100-point identity check for my Working With Children check.
To have my name comply with Aus requirements, I have to apply to change my name from LSMS to SSML.
Once the cert is issued, I will henceforth be known as SSML in all Aus documents.
No more confusion about what my family name or middle name is.
Thank goodness I have a first name.
