Are You A Happy Mother Today?

I've basking in joy and gratitude since Friday when Beth came home with a present for Mommy which she strictly forbade me to go near till today.

Every year, the Heathdale Christian College Parents & Friends Association hosts a Mothers' Day stall where students can pick up small gifts for mom. The gifts are handmade and/or sourced cheaply to make them affordable for the students, who are encouraged to spend no more than $5.

My bounty this year includes:

  • Home-cooked breakfast spread of bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes and toast
  • Gorgeous framed canvas with little square collages made from twigs and leaves and other natural items from Beth
  • Three cards from Beth - two made at school, one at home
  • A card from Jordanne
  • A little organza bag filled with potpurri from Jordanne (courtesy of Wyndarra Childcare Centre)
  • Heaps of cuddles, kisses and 'I love you Mommy' from the girls
I am truly blessed.
