For some time, I've been searching for a music school in Melbourne that exists to equip worship musicians and singers and help them get even better at their craft.

Back in '05 when I was facing a midlife crisis, I decided to enrol for Believer Music's Keyboard training. It's one of the best things I've ever done. I learned to worship again, using my God-given skills in piano in a new, sensitive way to engage even more deeply in the act of worshipping God.

When I came to Melbourne, one of my former church friends posted about their son learning drums at My Drum School (MDS). I saw the video of him playing, checked out the site and have been a fan of MDS from afar ever since.

I love their ethos, their professionalism, their passion, and most of all their unabashed declaration of faith.

I have yet to find a school like MDS or Believer here in Melbourne. If I just want to learn to sing, I can go to the school my girls go to for drum and piano lessons. But what I would be exposed to just doesn't meet my criteria - it's all about what's hot now, me-centered music, nothing that's soul satisfying and certainly nothing that glorifies God or points others to Him.

So, I'm still looking...
