When you're far from friends and familiar faces, every gesture of kindness becomes 10 times more significant.
When we moved house a month ago, we were blessed to receive offers of help from 2 friends. One guy is from our church and the other guy's daughter used to attend kinder with Beth.
While the guys were hard at work, the kids took turns jacking up the ramp at the rear of the moving truck and darting in and out among the white goods...

The mess and boxes were no deterrent to a last round of hide-and-seek either, except no one wanted J on their team because she kept squealing and giving away their hiding place!
This is how we've been living.

These ones won't fit in the recycle bin, so we'll have to make a trip to the Council dump...
