A couple of days back, I picked up Beth from school, and she casually mentioned that she'd gone up on stage during school assembly to receive a certificate....for being a Cheerful Helper!
Last Friday was her class teacher's birthday. Miss Holmes hails from Tassie, and she was going home for the weekend to spend her birthday with her family. Beth made her a birthday card.
On Monday, every child in the class - all 20 of them - came out at 3.10 pm waving a handwritten postcard from Miss Holmes.
What a beautiful, nurturing schooling experience.
What child wouldn't love school? :-)
