Creative Brain Exercise

While unpacking this morning (a process which began several weekends ago and will continue for a long long time), I discovered...our CDs!

I cannot live without my favourite music for long, and fell upon them the way Scottie attacks his food bowl in the morning.

Baby J and I bobbed to 陈百强, and I tried to impress on Beth the importance of being fluent in Mandarin so she could appreciate 张信哲.

"Jeff Chang? Did you say Jeff? Hey, that's like Jeff in Wiggles!" (1-0 in favour of Western influence, sigh.)

As I type this, I've got James Ingram's The Best of James Ingram (The Power of Great Music) playing, and I'm taking creative liberties with the song titles in a separate article - from a career practitioner's perspective.

Where Did My Heart Go? is for those who've reached career burnout.
How Do You Keep the Music Playing? is for those who're happy in their jobs and want to keep it that way.
Somewhere Out There is my dream job.
There's No Easy Way to combine a career you love and a balanced personal life.
And when things aren't going your way, Remember The Dream.
And on and on.

What fun!

PS. I'm giving my brain a workout by taking it on a bit of a wild ride. Try it yourself sometime; you might enjoy it. Yee ha! :-)
