One of the things I miss most about Sg is the reliable broadband access.

There are so many issues with access here.

People in new upmarket estates like Sanctuary Lakes in Point Cook - 20 mins from Melbourne CBD - are (still) complaining that they've only got dial-up broadband.

I have broadband, but it's really patchy. In an hour, the connection on my Dell desktop can drop several times. I have to click Start=>Netgear WV111v2 Smart Wizard=>Apply and wait for it to scan for the router until I get the "You are now connected to the Internet" message.

Imagine if I were working fulltime on my computer.

With my ACER notebook, it's worse. I have to use the Diagnose Network Connection link on IE, which invariably requires me to restart my notebook.

What a waste of time.

Oh, for the days of Starhub unlimited broadband...
